Today, instead of a sample question or my lame attempts at snark, a public service announcement:

Netroots Nation is coming soon. Last year, when it was still called YearlyKos, kid oakland came up with the absolutely wonderful idea of scholarships, providing financial assistance to help deserving folks attend the conference.

This year, Democracy For America has stepped up to repeat the scholarship effort. Everything you ever wanted to know about it can be found at this link, but the important points are:

1. The application deadline is the 9th of June. That's Monday. So, if you're thinking of applying, now is the time to stop procrastinating

2. Donations would be very welcome, to allow more scholarships to be awarded

3. In addition to direct financial donations, un-needed conference registrations can also be given

4. Keep an eye out for a series of diaries spread out over the next several days spreading the word
