Mitt Romney knows he's in danger of collapsing against John McCain today, so he has reinvented himself for the umpteenth time, this time as a populist leading a "citizen-revolution".   But it's a bizarre kind of populism the likes of which the world as never seen--and will probably never see again.    

The first results for Super Tuesday are already in and --so far-- it's a rout with Barack Obama leading Hillary Clinton three to one.  

The Clinton campaign appears to be playing defense heading into Super Tuesday.  

Obama appears to have the big MO on his side at this point, with dramatic leaps in all state polls.  The latest is Georgia.

Every few elections it seems we have a "JFK" candidate.   16 years ago, it was a young Bill Clinton.  Today, many say that Barack Obama, because of his youth and the optimism he exudes, strongly reminds them of JFK.  But Barack Obama has a much more direct connection to John Fitzgerald Kennedy.   Were it not for Kennedy's actions, Barack Obama would not exist.  

Is Hillary Clinton truly considering using a swift-boat style attack on Barack Obama to fuel her comeback?

It is truly tragic that the first female Muslim Prime Minister has been killed, but we shouldn't look at her legacy with rose-tinted glasses.  If Bhutto could be considered a democrat, she was a corrupt one.    

I am deeply conflicted about the candidacy of Barack Obama.  There are many things that make me think he is a great, maybe the best candidate, and there are others that give me pause about what kind of a leader he would be.   I think that is because there are really two Obamas.  

Of all the Democratic candidates, the one I most agree with on the issues is John Edwards.   But I have a big reservation about his candidacy.    

Senate Democrats have every reason to block President Bush from making undemocratic "recess-appointments" which would last until the end of his term.   So why would they want to negotiate that power away?

Mitt Romney is suddenly, falsely claiming that his father marched with Martin Luther King Jr., and the lie is being propped up by David Broder's lousy reporting and or intentional dishonesty.      

Look's like George Bush isn't going to be attending next year's OPEC summit after all.
